Silverstone is an emerging Taiwan company in the field of casing, power supply units, and other housing accessories. It’s sleek and yet functional cases had helped position Silverstone further in the market. Some may notice the obvious resemblances between Silverstone & Coolermaster’s ATC case products and might wonder what these 2 companies have in common. The engineering guys at Silverstone are mostly from ATCS and that explains the similiar feel of the products. This time around, we’re looking at Silverstone’s Gloria (SST-TJ04) case which is not just another steel case.
As part of Silverstone’s TemJin Series, the Gloria case is indeed a special case in its lineup. While most of Silverstone cases are of aluminum built, the Gloria however is based on a steel body coupled with a durable aluminum front panel. This casing is also claimed to be a screwless without the need of tools for assembly. Before jumping to conclusion based on its steel body, we’ll find out if this black beauty has something special under and over its steel body.
